Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer
Susan Rock is senior vice president and chief strategy officer at IDS International. An intuitive and bottom-line oriented team builder who has successfully expanded the company’s growth and productivity initiatives, she is responsible for defining and shaping key business areas, identifying new and existing market sectors, and driving company efforts to generate market intelligence. Additionally, Rock spearheads efforts to drive innovation, and identify areas of collaboration and shared value between IDS and its partner organizations.
Before taking on her current role, Rock previously served as the company’s senior vice president of business development and chief growth officer for two years. In that capacity, she was responsible for driving strategic partnerships and transactions to accelerate global growth. She worked with external partners, including government agencies, and private sector companies worldwide, ranging from start-up businesses to large-scale mature enterprises. Her work has resulted in the development and expansion of countless new and existing business partnerships for IDS, both within the United States and internationally.
Before joining IDS, Rock managed her own consulting practice, where she successfully commercialized new business opportunities and developed strategic relationships for her clients, including IDS. She previously spent twenty-five years in executive leadership positions with US government contractors including Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE), Raytheon, and Computer Science Corporation (CSC).
Rock holds a Bachelor’s degree in industrial marketing from the University of South Florida and a Master’s degree in management from Troy State University.
